Wintergreens and ice cream

On our way back to Duluth we stopped at the Wintergreen shop in Ely to try on some pretty "chic" Wintergreens, a must-have for any well dressed Minnesotian lol

Girls just like to have fun and enjoy the good things in life, so Holte took me to Nokomis to have a strawberry ginger shortcake with vanilla bean, whipped cream and strawberry ice cream, yummy!

Congdon Mansion Minnesota

Wow, check this out... it is the Congdon Mansion in Glensheen. Just 39 rooms and "only" 15 bathrooms. It was donated to the University of Minnesota by the family and turned into a museum in 1979

Some wheels... a beautiful Pierce Arrow was waiting for me outside the carriage house and I really would have liked to take it for a spin

Tereva in Minnesota

It may have seemed a little quiet around me... but I have been continuing my "world" discovery tour and spent some wonderful time in Minnesota, with Holte! Hawk Ridge, looking across the lake, all the way to Wisconsin. People come from all over to watch the raptors ride the thermal currents....brrrrr scary huh
