The Panama locks

The Panama Canal has 3 sets of locks, one on the Atlantic side, "Gatun" and 2 on the Pacific Ocean side "Miraflores" and the "Pedro Miquel" and as you can see, this is me passing through the Pedro Miquel !

And so, as planned, I was off to Panama of all places! A very relaxing, interesting and discovering time...

At Bill's and Ruthies

Bill and Ruthie told me everything about their trip to French Polynesia and the Aranui...

and seeing the many souvenirs around from my home country made me feel so very much at home!

And so another great visit came to an end, got myself well wrapped up and on the way again to a new adventure!

Food & games

Different places calls for a different diet, so of course I had to try a local favorite, the Lake Erie perch to get me in shape for a good game of shuffleboard

So here I am at Cheryl's and Joe's place in Milan Township Ohio... brrrrrrrrrr 39° and frost warnings to go!

My first real encounter with a different climate and ready to burn some firewood!
