So, ok they weened me off the Hinano and took me to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville at The Flamingo right on the strip! hmmmmmm do I need to say more? No, because I can't remember !But that wasn't the only surprise they had for me either...

YES, yes, LAS VEGAS...

and so here I am in Las Vegas with my hosts Patti and Paul

This is me on the deck of the "US Fare Hamara" in University Place and look who's arriving... none other than the US coast guard!

I actually thought for a moment they came looking for me!

What a view! Wow!

And so I said goodbye to Washington, I am on my way to Las Vegas!

Looking ahead in time...

Uncle Bob & Aunt Mary took me to have a look at the Chamber's Bay Golf Course where the US open will be held in 2015 (hmmm... wonder how old and in what condition I will be in the year 2015...). A beautiful place to stretch the leggs and get some fresh air!

Oh boy, I really had to be taken care of in a very special way, my heart was beating like a "Toere" (Tahitian drum) as I was waiting for Taote (Dr.)George Clooney to give me some CPR...

The good old days...

Uncle Bob showed me some old photographs of Bora Bora and Moorea when there were no OWB's yet and very few hotels, no large 4X4's and cell phones ringing around, wow

Those were the good old days and seeing the many changes the islands went through really made my temperature go up and in no time my body was glistering with beads of sweat as you can tell by the pictures... I guess it made me feel a little homesick!

Incredible all the things my wonderful hosts allow me to experience and the beautiful places I get to visit and yes, it is packing time already and many tearfull goodbyes (with a nice cold Hinano to ease the pain...)

Tahiti, Hawaii, California...

Next on my (impressive) itinerary is a vacation with a Tahitian Princess in Cypress California...

and of course first outing: the US post office (maybe to send a postcard to tatie Poehere? ) I believe they call that "snailmail" here... hmmm I am learning and learning so many things along the way!

Oh wonderfull Hawaii

All good things coming to an end... with a great farewell dinner it was time to pack, get my airmiles passes, say tearfull goodbye's and go on into this big wide world!

Oh Rodjune, I can not find enough words to thank you for the great Hawaiian experience! Mauruuru roa ia'oe, e mea 'oa'oa vau! A parahi ana'e!!!!

I had a meeting with King Hamehameha before heading off to...a well known Black Pearl Market!
What a precious feeling to have $ 169 K worth of pearls draped around my body! Unfortunately too heavy to bring with me when departing for California, the next stop on my world wide itinerary...
